Homemade facial masks for oily skin

1) Apple face mask

  1. one apple
  2. 3-4 tablespoons of honey

Slice the apple into small pieces. Put it into a blender and add honey. Apply the mixture on your face and leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water.
Your skin will be getting Vitamins A, B and C directly from the apple.

2) Tomato face mask

Mesh well one small tomato and apply it on your face. Leave it on for 20 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water. Afterwards apply an oil-free moisturizer.
Tomato removes excess oil. It contains vitamin A and C to brighten dull skin and astringents to help shrink the pores. Doing this everyday for several days will help you with your acne as well.

3) Cucumber face mask

  1. 1/2 cucumber
  2. one egg white
  3. one teaspoon lemon juice
  4. one teaspoon mint

Puree everything and refrigerate the mixture for 10 minutes. Apply on face and leave it on for 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water and then with cool water.
Cucumber is a key ingredient for many home beauty treatments. With its nourishing, hydrating, and astringent properties it works wonders for your skin. It also soothes, brightens and tightens it. Cucumber has the same pH as your skin so it acts as a natural restorer of the acid mantle(the body's natural protective layer of oil)

4) Strawberry face mask

   1. 3-4 strawberries (ripe and clean)
   2. one teaspoon yogurt

Place 3 or 4 strawberries in a small bowl and mesh them with a fork. Then add the yogurt and stir. Apply the mixture and leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water.
Strawberry is loaded with vitamins, antioxidants and has antibacterial properties. Its salicylic acid is a good combatant for acne and blackheads. It also has antiseptic and lightening properties.
